All Pharrell wants if for everyone to be “Happy!” Unfortunately he successfully made lots of people not happy as he wares Native American headdress on the cover of Elle UK.

For the cover of the July issue of Elle UK you can find Pharrell rocking a traditional Native American headdress oppose to his Vivienne Westwood hat. This sparked a lot of controversy igniting the hashtag #nothappy on twitter.

Pharrell never wants to offend anyone or disrespects someone culture. A statement was issued earlier today apologizing to anyone he offended. “I respect and honor every kind of race, background and culture. I am genuinely sorry.”

Elle UK might have been the reason behind Pharrell decision to ditch his now famous look.

“We persuaded ELLE Style Award winner Pharrell to trade his Vivienne Westwood mountie hat for a native American feather headdress in his best ever shoot.”

The statement was later replaced with a promotional statement later. I’m sure no one was thinking about offending anyone in the name of fashion. don’t worry Pharrell we still love you!
