Paula Patton opens up to Vanity Fair about her relationship with Robin Thicke.
Well, not really she still played rather coy during the interview when talking about Thicke. It seems the public attempts to try and win his girl back have been so far unsuccessful. Even still the actress still manage to let us know that her and Thicke have a deep connection.
“We’ve known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there—always was, and always will be.”
Paula remembers the first time they met. It’s the cutest story of the two meeting at an under-18 nightclub when she was 15 and he was 14. To set the mood right for the young couples first kiss Robin swooned Paula with his own rendition of “Forever My Lady” by Jodice in his fathers living room.
“He wasn’t my first kiss,” says Patton, “but he was my first lots of other things.”
Believe it or not Paula didn’t always want to be in front of the camera.
“I felt uncomfortable in my own skin, so I liked the other side of the camera,” she says. “It took until I was 27 to say, ‘You only have one life to live, so you might as well go and see if you can act.’ ”
Paula is current filming Warcaft in Vancouver based on the very poplar online video game.
I guess we all have to wait and see if the two will get back together.
