Kenya Moore Most Certainly Did Give Saving Our Daughters A Donation

Bravo!

Bravo!

More news coming from exclusivley LoveBScott.com that Saving Our Daughters did in fact received a hefty donation from Kenya Moore! B.Scott has the story plus crucial evidence:

Earlier today, Curtis Benjamin, Founder and CEO of Saving Our Daughters, released a lengthy statement on behalf of the organization in which he says the charity never received any money from the Masquerade Ball Kenya threw on their behalf.

“To protect the integrity of Saving Our Daughters, our records show that we did not receive any of the proceeds raised from Ms. Moore’s masquerade ball.”

However, Kenya’s text message conversation with Curtis Benjamin himself tells a different story.

In fact, in the leaked text messages dating October 2013, Curtis Benjamin thanks Kenya for her personal donation in addition to the donations they received from the event.

Hi Kenya – Thank you for your personal donation as well. Here is the address so we can make it on time. Saving Our Daughters 311 Ryan Trail Dallas, GA 30157 :) ,” writes Curtis. “We will email over your thank you receipt letter this week from our trustee board for your total donation. Again thank you. :) , he adds.

The two continued to discuss the event over the next few days, with Curtis adding he “thought the event went well that night.

We’ve also learned that the rented mansion for the event was $5,000 alone. There was also Valet parking, decor, PR costs, etc. In total, the ball cost well over $10K.

For further proof, check out these receipts showing a portion Kenya Moore’s donation and several of the ball expenses.

Let’s break this down:

The 9/26 check was written by Kenya to help put on the event. The 10/18 check  was her personal donation.

The text message from Curtis dating before 10/16 thanks Kenya for her personal donation — not necessarily saying they received it, but they gave her the address for it. Which is why the check was sent and mailed on the 18th — 2 days after Kenya was given the address.

They then said they would mail Kenya a receipt for her TOTAL donation — meaning another donation exists.

Furthermore — if the ladies in attendance were donating to charity, why would they be writing checks to Kenya? Wouldn’t they be writing checks out straight to SOD?

Although Saving Our Daughters did acknowledge a $500 donation for ‘Christmas’, it would seem odd that a charity would be collecting for a Christmas toy drive in October, completely bypassing anything related to the Thanksgiving holiday altogether.

We reached out to Kenya Moore for comment. In a statement exclusively to lovebscott.com, Kenya writes:

“It’s unfortunate Mr. Curtis Benjamin was not aware of the effort I put into trying to make the event a success for Saving Our Daughters or overlooked the texts regarding the intended honoree. I spent over $10,000 dollars to make the charity event successful, in addition to making a personal donation from the event as well as forwarding any and all donations collected.  I hope the focus can shift to the young girls and I wish the organization nothing but the best in the future.”

Well maybe now was can put this all to rest. Kenya always says she is not a lair maybe their is some truth to that. This story about to wear me out!
